The Association for Christian Fundraising is presenting another edition of the Virtual Master Class Series to increase engagement and opportunity throughout the year. The second installment, a two-day series on September 22 and 29, will feature esteemed speakers on philanthropy, Jay Frost and Tycely Williams.

Jay Frost

 Jay Frost is the Host of the Philanthropy Masterminds Series and has been with DonorSearch for 16 years. The Masterminds Series is DonorSearch’s all-access pass to the top voices in the world of social good.

Over his 30 years as a grantmaker, fundraiser, consultant, and serial entrepreneur, Jay has worked with thousands of organizations to identify and pursue billions in fundraising opportunities around the world.

He has been recognized as one of America’s Top 10 Fundraising Experts by Philanthropy Media, Top Eight Fundraising Influencers by Elevation Media, Top 25 Fundraising Experts by Nonprofit Fundraising, 30 Nonprofit Tech Influencers to Follow by BizTech, and one of the Top Nonprofit Fundraising Consultants by Double the Donation. In addition to serving as host of the series, he is also a consultant to nonprofits and an advisor to companies serving the philanthropic marketplace.

Tycely Williams

Tycely Williams is an award-winning C-suite executive who has led inclusive teams that have raised and managed over $600 million in her 28-year career. She currently serves as the CEO of Liberty Fellowship, a member of The Aspen Institute’s Global Leadership Network. In this role, she leads a preeminent leadership program, engaging values-centered leaders through individual and collective action to improve the lives of millions of residents.

Tycely previously held chief development roles at the Bipartisan Policy Center and America’s Promise Alliance. Tycely chairs the boards of The Nonprofit Alliance Foundation and YWCA National Capital Area. She also serves on the boards of Leadership Greater Washington, Rising Media Stars, The Institute for Responsible Citizenship, and The Blackbaud Giving Fund, the 10th largest donor-advised fund in the U.S., which has transferred over $2.2 billion to 195,000+ nonprofits since 2020. Tycely has served on the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Global Board, where she led the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access Committee and AFP’s Global Women’s Impact Initiative for more than 30,000 members in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and China. She is past President of AFP DC, where she started the African American Affinity Group to retain and support underrepresented fundraising professionals. Tycely was a "NonProfit Times" Top 50 Power & Influence honoree in 2023 and 2024. She holds an Executive Master's in leadership from The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University; is a cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University with a B.A. in communication, including distinguished departmental honors and a minor in Journalism; and received a Public Leadership Credential from the Harvard Kennedy School. Tycely teaches at Penn State’s World Campus and volunteers with The Junior League; The Links, Incorporated; and Tri Delta to improve her local community.
