Is Your Board Bored?  How to go From Lifeless to Faith-Filled.
Lacey Young and Matt Sheffield, CFRE

Date: Thursday, June 26, 2025

Time: 12:30 p.m. CT

In a world full of change and challenge, one thing remains steady: the purpose that drives your mission. But when a board lacks alignment or engagement, that mission can begin to drift.

A faithful and focused board isn’t just helpful — it’s essential. The right leaders provide wisdom, accountability, and alignment that strengthen both the ministry and the people it serves. Yet, many leaders find themselves navigating unclear roles, mismatched expectations, or hesitation around board involvement in fundraising.

In this session, we’ll explore foundational principles around board service — considering how we identify and enlist the right leaders; set both spiritual and practical expectations; and foster deeper engagement in governance and giving.

Whether you're building a board from the ground up or renewing energy in an existing one, join us for a thoughtful conversation on cultivating board leadership that reflects commitment, clarity, and a deep connection to mission.
